| | NEMANJA RADULOVIC – Violin At 25, Nemanja Radulovic sets aflame concert halls in every appearances of his thanks to his performances and his stage presence. He was recognized as the “International Revelation of the Year” at the Victoires de la Musique in 2005 (European Association of Artist Managers, MIDEM prize), was nominated as “Rising Star” in 2006 and plays in the most important European concert halls: the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Megaron in Athens, the Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, the Philharmonie of Cologne, as well as at the Carnegie Hall. In 2006, he replaced Maxim Vengerov in the Beethoven concerto, Salle Pleyel, with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France conducted by Myung-Whun Chung. He then performs with the greatest orchestras in Europe, Asia and America : Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Rio, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, Prague Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Nürnberger Symphoniker, NDR Symphony Orchestra of Hannover, Orchestra Philharmonic of Ukraine, Orchestre National de Belgique, WDR Symphony Orchestra of Köln, Zurïch Tonhalle Orchestra, the RTVE of Madrid, Orchestra Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, the RAI Orchestra of Turin, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London… He has been recording for the label Transart Live since 2005, with a solo CD (Bach, Miletic, Paganini, Ysaÿe) which is acclaimed by the press and awarded a Diapason discovery, and the two Mendelssohn concertos with the Prague Chamber Orchestra, which are immediately on the top of the download lists on iTunes and VirginMega. His latest album «The Devil’s Trills» has been released in September 2009 for the label Decca/Universal in France and worlwide for the label ArtAct, (Kreisler, Sarasate, Schubert, Wieniawski and Tartini) and receive many international awards: “Choc“ of Classica, “Clé“ of Res Musica, Recommended by the Strad... His latest album, a CD dedicated to Beethoven Sonatas and with Susan Manoff, has just been released by DECCA and ArtAct. Since his appearance at the Festival de La Chaise-Dieu in France in 2002, Nemanja Radulovic has taken part in the most famous music festivals, and gives regular recitals with Marielle Nordmann, Susan Manoff, Dominique Plancade, Laure Favre-Kahn, Anne Gastinel and his ensembles The Devil’s Trills and Double Sens. Nemanja Radulovic won many international prizes : Joachim in Hanover, George Enescu Competition in Bucharest, Antonio Stradivari Competition in Cremona, Yehudi Menuhin Competition in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Wieniawski-Lipinski Competition in Poland… Born in Serbia in 1985, Nemanja Radulovic has begun his musical studies in 1992 and won the Prize of October for music of the City of Belgrade in 1996, then the Special Prize of the ministry of Education of the Serbian Republic “Talent of the year 1997”. He has taken part in master classes given by Yehudi Menuhin, Salvatore Accardo, and Joshua Epstein, with whom he studied in 1998 at the Saarlandes Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Saarbrücken, and Dejan Mihailovic, whose class he joined in 1999 at the Faculty of Arts and Music in Belgrade. At the age of fourteen, he moved to France and perfected with Patrice Fontanarosa at the CNSMD of Paris. Nemanja Radulovic plays a violin made by J. B. Vuillaume in 1843. |
| | GUILLAUME FONTANAROSA – Violin Born in Suresnes in 1972, Guillaume Fontanarosa, studied the violin in Jean Lenert’s class and chamber music in that of the Quatuor Ysaÿe at the Paris Conservatoire, where he was awarded premiers prix for both disciplines. After advanced studies with Pierre Doukan, he was admitted to the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, where he worked with Géza Kapás.At the same time he played with various symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles, and appeared as a soloist with the Orchestre Symphonique de Lyon, the Youth Orchestra of the Ile-de-France and the Parana Symphony Orchestra (Argentina) In September 2000 he was appointed to a post (violin) at the Conservatoire des Portes de l’Essonne (Athis-Mons, Juvisy). Guillaume Fontanarosa is first violin with Illico, which was formed in 2000 with the singer Cyril Giroux. In 2001 the ensemble met Muriel Mayette (actor and administrator of the Comédie Française) and subsequently its performances gained a theatrical dimension. The Quatuor Illico is regularly invited to take part in international festivals, as well as appearing regularly on stages in Paris.

| | BERTRAND CAUSSE – Viola The very eclectic artist Bertrand Causse trained as a pianist, viola player and conductor. He also has a keen interest in drama and contemporary music. He was a soloist (viola) for several years with the Fa Ensemble, and also conductor of the Emmanuel Chabrier Youth Orchestra (Île-de-France) and the choir Musicolor, which he founded. In 2000 he was apponted musical director of the CNR-Université de Reims Inex’Tempo, which he directed until 2005. In 2000 he formed the Illico Ensemble - the Quatuor Illico plus singer-songwriter Cyril Giroux - thus moving towards a musical and theatrical stage form. He is also noted, both in France and abroad, as an excellent whistler. His talents in that field have been broadcast on France Musique (‘Les contes du jour et de la nuit’, ‘Un mardi idéal’). Bertrand Causse plays the viola with Illico. |
| | ANNE BIRAGNET – Cello
After receiving premiers prix for cello and chamber music, Anne Biragnet went on to work with Étienne Cardoze, Xavier Gagnepain and Marc Coppey, before joining the group Illico, with which she has toured widely in France and abroad, appearing at the Avignon Festival, La Cigale and the Comédie des Champs-Elysées (both in Paris), to mention just a few important venues. With Illico she met Muriel Mayette (actor and administrator of the Comédie Française), who helped the ensemble to achieve a theatrical dimension in its performances. Anne Biragnet’s stage presence and acting abilities have been highly praised by the critics. With Frédéric Dessus she works regularly on various events for the Comédie Française; she has also recorded music for stage plays and choreographic works, as well as for various singers, including Yann Tiersen and Adamo. Anne Biragnet is the Illico’s cellist. |
| | STANISLAS KUCHINSKI - Double bass
Born in 1975, Stanislas Kuchinski first studied music in Douai, where he was awarded first prizes for piano, harmony and counterpoint. He then entered Jean-Marc Rollez’s class (double bass) at the Paris Conservatoire and was unanimously awarded a premier prix in 1995. In 1997 he qualified as a teacher and embarked on a teaching career, working at several conservatoires. He now has a permanent post at the Paris Conservatoire. While teaching he also played with the Orchestra of the Paris Opéra, the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, and with various chamber ensembles. In 2002 Stanislas Kuchinski joined the Orchestre de Paris as double-bass player. |
